Hi, I’m Ellyn. I’ve been dedicated to promoting women’s health for over 30 years.
My intention is to take the guess work out of preparing for birth and recovery. I offer current, evidence based movement and education practices that support an easeful pregnancy, birth and postpartum, regardless of whether you choose a medicated, unmedicated, hospital or home birth.
During my decades of experience as a Clinical Specialist and Primary Care Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, I trained Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Nurses and provided compassionate health care to thousands of women and babies. I also served as the health care manager for three shelters serving homeless pregnant women & mother-infant dyads in NYC.
I continue to empower women by helping them build sustainable movement and wellness practices.
My expertise is backed by over 3000 hours of training in women’s fitness, trauma-informed, accessible yoga, and mindfulness meditation. I’m currently completing my Graduate Degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology.
Postpartum, or the fourth trimester, is a special focus of mine. I take pride in designing programs that will honor your unique hormonal and physiologic needs, and help you reclaim core connection and confidence.
In addition, I guide women throughout their entire lifecycle by cultivating strength and resilience with Pilates, Resistance Training, and Yoga for Menopause and Bone Health.
